So today's post is all about my dream job. I think I mentioned this a little bit in my 'Why I Quit University' blog post. I used to think my dream job was to be a teacher but after being at university for a year, I completely changed my mind. I know that I still want to work with children, but one of the modules at university was all about safeguarding children and I loved it. It was the module that I found the most interesting and the one that I put a lot more effort into researching and doing my assignment. This made me realise that I want to work with safeguarding children within schools and with social workers. I would love to do this as I think it's such a rewarding job, knowing that you are keeping children safe from any harm.
Day 24: Favourite Childhood Book
"To all the other dreamers out there, don't ever stop or let the world's negativity disenchant you or your spirit. If you surround yourself with love and the right people, anything is possible" - Adam Green (The Happiness Planner)
I didn't really used to be a fan of reading, I never really have been. I'd read the books that we had to for school and that was about it. However, I did used to have a massive collection of all of the Disney books and I remember this one book, I can't remember the name of it, but it was a follow up book from the Lion King. I'm sure it had an elephant in it too and the two lion cubs were friends with the elephant?
But anyway, I would always hear creaks in the floorboards in the house and had a fear that someone was trying to break in to the house and I would always read this book and it would make me feel better! I don't know why and it sounds so stupid but I always remember just going to this one book every time I got a little bit scared. If you know the name of the book I mean, comment it down below please because I don't have the book anymore and I couldn't find it on google!
