If you follow me on Snapchat (bethcarney123) you might know that I have started a new subscription with Birchbox. Each month I will be doing a post about what I got in my box and also a mini review on each product. I will also include the Retail Price, however this price is based on how much it costs from the official Birchbox Shop.
July's Birchbox theme is a Never-Ending Summer and a collaboration with Millie Mackintosh, who is someone who's style I am obsessed with and I love her Instagram! This month we get 2 full size products, including a product that has been designed by Millie. This month also came with a really cute bag which says 'Best Day Ever', which I will definitely be taking on holiday with me to hold all of my skincare products.
Nails Inc. Nail Varnish
I am always painting my nails, I hate them when they are bare so I know I will definitely use this. There were a few different shades you could've got but I got Upper Park Road, which is a really pale lilacy pink kind of colour. The full size of this retails for £15.
John Frieda Luxurious Volume 7 Day Volume In Shower Treatment
I find that my hair feels so dull and flat quite a lot of the time so I am always looking for products to make my hair look and feel healthier. This product retails for £9.99, which I think is quite a reasonable price for haircare. I have tested this product a little and the next day my hair felt like it had so much more volume and it felt so bouncy. And for the price of it I'm sure this will become a product I use and repurchase.
Caudalie Micellar Cleansing Water
I have tried a couple of cleansing waters in the past, but have always find that they sting when taking off my eye make up. However this one didn't sting at all and took all of my make up off. Personally I prefer to use my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish and I find that to be a little more gentle on my skin.
The full size of this retails for £15.
LOC x Millie in Bohemian Rose
As you can tell from what this is called, this is the product that is the collaboration with Millie Mackintosh. This is an Ultra-Gloss Lip Pencil and the colour is a very natural pink type of colour. This retails for £9. I personally prefer to wear Matte Lipsticks as they last a lot longer but if you prefer glossy lips, you should definitely try this!
Elemis Hydra-Boost Day Cream
This day cream is specifically for dry skin, which if you've seen my Skincare Routine post you will know! This retails for £39. This cream feels so hydrating on your skin and really does make you feel a difference if you have very dry skin like me. However, I think considering the price that I would prefer to buy a day cream that is a little bit cheaper and does just as good a job!
